Congratulations on making it to the CARNATION BOWL!
Stay warm and keep the kids well this week!
Things you need to Know
1. Please make sure your families know that only players and a maximum 7 Coaches
will be admitted to the stadium free of charge, all coaches must be
dressed in Coaches Uniform to begiven free access.
Admission for Adults is $10.00, Grade K-12 and 60 & older are $7.00, 4 and under are Free
2. Both venues have concession stands and bathroom facilities. Both have metal seats, so plan for them to be cold.
3. Your team will be issued 7 field passes for Coaches/Manager/Min. Play Counter. NO MORE. If you have more coaches and helpers you need to know who
you plan to bring onto the field prior to arriving at the stadium. There will be no EXCEPTIONS. Only coaches who are listed on your official
roster and have been background checked by your area are eligible for a field pass – if you have fewer than 7 coaches/manager you will get
only enough passes to accommodate your staff, if you have more you will need to decide which 7 people will be on field with you. There are
no cell phones or walkie talkies allowed in use by any member of the coaching staff on the field. If applicable, each Team will need to provide a minimum
play-counter. One of the people on your team with a field pass will have to keep the minimum play count for your players. JYFA will spot-check minimum play throughout the games.
4. Failure to comply with minimum play rules will result in a forfeit.
5. If you plan to bring “Cheerleaders” in uniform, we need to know that now. You MUST provide us with a current Insurance certificate
naming Jeffco Youth Football and Jeffco Public Schools as Additional Insured.
Also. For music playback through the stadium system for halftime performances, media box staff only have access to a mini plug for sound. We do have iphone converters for the mini plug.
A member of the Cheerleading group familiar with the device to be used for playback(cellphone) must be available up in the booth during the routine.
6. Only water is allowed on the Field or Track – NO Sports Drinks or FOOD of any kind including seeds and gum.
7. JYFA will keep the game play count/game time clock. Each team will need to provide volunteers for the chains. (2 Home/1 Away)
8. You may have one photographer on the field. Video must be shot from the stands.
9. There will be NO Heaters allowed on the stadium floor.
10. Patches – 30 patches per team were ordered – if your total kids and
coaches exceed this number we MAY be able to accommodate the
extras after the weekend but will not hand out more than 30 per team
at the conclusion of your game. If you need more you will need to
speak to your area director next week.
11. Weight Challenges – If you plan to challenge a player on the opposing
team you must do so at least 120 minutes / 2 hours prior to game
time. If you have a player who is challenged – they must be weighed
prior to the game. (We do not have the luxury of time. To ensure
that there is not a forfeit due to a player coming in over after the
game and delaying the awards and subsequent games we must weigh
any challenged player prior to KO). We would prefer to get any
weight challenges this week prior to games.
12. Your team will need to provide the Press Box with a numeric ordered roster that
has a pronunciation guide for any difficult names. – This is mandatory
13. Please be prepared to take the field up to 15 minutes early. Failure to
do so when asked will result in a delay of game penalty (9 yds on the
60yd field, 15yds on the 100yd field) every 5 minutes you delay
14. The locker rooms will be made available before your game and at half time. You will need to clear out all your gear at half. Half time will be
no more than 8 minutes and may be reduced to 5 minutes if we fall behind schedule.
15. Please ask families to carpool where possible.
16. As a reminder to all your families and spectators we do not allow any artificial noise making devices such as but not limited to Cow Bells, Air Horns, Blow Horns or Music from the stands. Please respect the others who you are sharing the stands with by having fun and cheering on your team without these types of items.
17. On field Warm-up music played through team owned speaker systems is not allowed.
18. There are no dogs allowed in to Jeffco Stadiums. Exception is certified Service or Medical Alert Dogs wearing their vest.
Special Note: The Carnation Bowl is an all volunteer staffed event, we ask that all
teams and spectators please clean up after themselves at the
conclusion of your games, so that our volunteers can get home at the
end of 3 very long days, your help and cooperation on this is VERY
appreciated.
Thank you and GOOD LUCK!!
